Synopsis:

An American filmmaker returns to the Balkans 25 years after he became a paid propagandist for a repressive regime​ and is forced to confront his personal failings. In the process, he exposes the powers competing for historical memory.

The film examines how propaganda is produced, normalized, and sustained long after the conflicts that created it. Through firsthand testimony and archival investigation, the documentary traces how narratives shaped in the 1990s continue to influence politics, identity, and historical denial today.
